Welcome to my 2020-2021 World Geography and Mississippi Studies class! This year, the primary way that I will be connecting digitally with students and parents is through the new Schoology platform. Make sure you explore Schoology and become familiar with it. If COVID-19 causes school closures at any point of the year, we will continue online learning through Schoology.
Also, please familiarize yourself with your online textbook. For instructions on how to access the textbook, click HERE
I hope that this year my class allows you grow to appreciate the differences in people from around the globe and recognize that these differences are what make life exciting and interesting. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me!

I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2014 which my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and from the University of Memphis in 2016 with my Master's Degree in Public Administration, specializing in Public Management and Policy. My wife, Anna, is also a teacher, teaching math at Olive Branch Middle School. Together, we have the most amazing little boy, Eric.
Prior to teaching, I worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Memphis and for the City of Horn Lake, where I coordinated the city's Mayor's Youth Council. I also served as the Grants Administrator and Public Information Officer for the DeSoto County Government.
