Dr. O'Neal Douglas is in his fifth year as Band Director at Lake Cormorant Middle School. Dr. Douglas has taught in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana. He has also served as Lecturer of Music Theory and Low Brass at Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Douglas is also a composer with works performed in the U.S. and abroad and has fulfilled several commissions.   
Dr. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Louisiana Tech University, a Master of Music Degree in Music Composition from Central Michigan University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Composition from Michigan State University. He has also done Graduate work in Trombone and Composition at the University of Mississippi.   

Dr. Douglas lives in Walls with his wife Debra.
