The Vision of the Lake Cormorant Middle School Counseling Department is that students recognize their potential and utilize their skills to succeed in academics, grow in social-emotional awareness and discover possible future paths through career and college exploration. By maximizing growth in these areas, students will be well-equipped to be functional and successful members of society.

The mission of the LCMS Counseling Department is to equip all students with skills necessary for successful academic, career, social-emotional development. As advocates, the Counselors aim to to provide opportunities in an empathetic and equitable positive school climate in order to meet their potential as they embark into young adulthood. Collaborating with the school community, the Counseling Department will assist students as they work to become productive, life-long problem-solvers.
