Following my graduation from SHS in 2004, I received a degree from the University of Mississippi in 2009.
The 2019-20 school year will be my ninth as an educator and second as an LC Gator. I spent the last seven years as a History teacher at Southaven Middle, where I sponsored yearbook and co-sponsored Youth in Government
I am a proud product of Desoto County Schools. I graduated from Southaven High in 2004 and attended the University of Mississippi, where I pursued a degree in English and History. Following my graduation, I received my educator's certification from the state of Mississippi in 2010.
This is my second year as a Gator; for eight years, I taught U.S. History and English to students at Southaven Middle.
I love teaching. It gives me the opportunity to reach out and impart my love of learning and history to new groups of young adults every year. This job isn't just about learning and regurgitating information; it's about relationships. I strive to create meaningful student/teacher rapports to ensure student success.
Thank you for the chance to instruct your student this year. I know it will be a great one!
