About the Teacher

I attended Illinois State University, and graduated in the winter of 2011. I received my degree in elementary education with endorsements in middle school Physical Education, Science, Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies.

This is my seventh year teaching. I taught seventh and eighth grade Science at Southaven Middle School for the previous six years. This is my second year at LCMS. I love being a part of Gator Nation!

I grew up in rural Illinois where I played football, baseball, and basketball my whole school career. I enjoy reading books of all genres, fishing, watching football, and playing disc golf. More importantly I love teaching, and am honored that I can be apart of the Lake Cormorant community!

COVID-19 At-Home Workouts 4/14-4/17


Below you will find some easy at-home workouts your student can do while they are at home during this time school isn't in session due to COVID-19.

Daily Yoga:

Yoga is a great work out to do at home, it not only works you physically, but it is known to ease stress and anxiety. I would recommend doing a yoga work out from home daily. Parents feel free to join! 

Here are the Apps I am using at the moment:

Yoga for Beginners Mind +Body- This app is completely free and offers a variety of different yoga work outs. 

Down Dog- As of right now it is free until April 1st. It will continue to be free until July for teachers and students, you just need to use your School E-mail when signing up.
